Step 1: Initial Design Meeting

• Meet with our friendly staff at Lausman Homes
• Bring all your creative ideas to our conference center
• Express the needs of you and your family and describe your “vision” to us

Step 2: Preliminary Design

• We will prepare a basic, full size, hand drawn floor plan
• Together, we will thoroughly discuss our conceptual plan
• We prepare a preliminary bid and specification sheet based on our hand drawing
• Discuss items included, and available options
• Discuss budget goals and real costs

Step 3: Blueprint Initiation

• Once you are comfortable with our design concept, we begin the blueprint process
• In approx. 2 weeks we meet to go over our “cleaned-up” computer blueprints, make changes & meet again. Each meeting, you will receive a full size plan so you can take it home to think about each room or maybe do simple furniture layouts.

Step 4: Final Selections

• We carefully review every detail of your home, insuring we both understand what is included and expected
• Final blueprints are produced, & final a specification sheet complete
• Wait for final approval from the Bank

Step 5: BUILD!

• All the hard work and many decisions have been completed.
• Now the fun begins!
• While we wait for the bank, our talented design team helps make the color choices and other selections for your home simple, fun, & exciting!
